| | Lego newspaper article
| Shhh! Hear that trickling sound? That's the sound of a trademark being diluted. My local newspaper, the South Bend Tribune, took samples of the year's hot toys to a nearby daycare center and ran a story on the kids' reactions. Not surprisingly, the (...) | | Re: LEGO Star Wars Sets are Record Setting!
| (...) Well, I for one hope they figure out that part of the success of these sets is how well-designed they are. Almost no other liscence is going to generate the kind of sales Star Wars is... and I really do hope they *don't* start liscencing out (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.starwars)

| It is my recollection that there have been mini-figs that ALREADY changed that yellow only policy. I do believe that Darth Vader has a grey head. If they can do grey, why not brown? I think black may be out, since it will not contrast enough to the (...) (26 years ago, 24-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

| | Re: Bonding Lego plastic?
| Some model builders that work for LEGO use "Plastruct". I found it at Pearl Arts and Craft in Cambridge, MA ... don't know where else you can get it. It is pretty thin and clear and can be painted onto the edges to fuse the plastic together after (...) (26 years ago, 3-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
