  The TCLTC Changes Its Mind

A while back, I posted (URL) THIS>, and now I've changed my mind: It's back to "Twin Cities LEGO® Train Club". Not that anyone really cared, but I just wanted to set the record straight. JOHN (14 years ago, 20-Aug-10, to lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, FTX)

Re: Enter the LEGO(R) Design Challenge

(...) You're still assuming that the main goal of this is to glean ideas for use in future sets. On the surface, it appears that the main goal is to get cool models that they can use as graphics for the 2010 Holiday catalog. Graphics which in no way (...) I seems like only yesterday that I posted (URL) THIS>. Now the license has come to an end. I just wanted to say that it was a great run, and to Brad Justus, wherever you are, I offer a toast to your name: Salute! JOHN (14 years ago, 24-Jul-10, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.duplo, FTX) !

(...) That's one way to look at it, Joseph. Another way would be to acknowledge the TLC is involving AFOLs into their design process, a gesture for which AFOLs were screaming 10+ years ago. (...) It may sound underhanded at first glance, but that's all standard boilerplate. It has the following effects: 1. If you submit an physical photo, you surrender your rights to that photo.   Re: LDConfig_Alt.ldr

(...) The LDConfig_Alt file has more realistic colors. To use it in MLCAD (version 3.3 or higher), you need to rename LDConfig.ldr to something like LDConfig_BlackEdges.ldr and rename LDConfig_Alt.ldr to LDConfig.ldr. MLCAD will read the file and (...) (14 years ago, 3-Jul-10, to lugnet.cad)

LEGOLAND California's Ambassador Pass Master Model Builder classes start today for the 2010 season.
