Re: The Brick Testament: The Book of Joshua Concludes

Hey Brendan, Great work as always! Massacre of the Anakim - I didn't reallize there were different faces for the big round-headed figs. I had one of those in my first LEGO set that could either be a man or woman depending on whether you added the (...) (20 years ago, 8-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: A bad taste picture (Re: Space Rocks!!!)

(...) Well, I for one did not realize there even was such a Castle vs Space rift around here. I happen to like Space, Castle, and even Town and Trains, and an occasional Pirate or Wild West set is okay too. Because of the nature of my latest big (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-02, to lugnet.space)

Hmm. Tom Stangl must be occupied. O.K., here's what I was told.   My visit to Mall of America LIC

Hi Everyone, I was at the Mall of America from July 2 - 6, and I took a few pictures while I was there. Not much that people haven't seen before, but I'll highlight a few of them. Main picture directory: (URL) is everywhere, isn't it? (At SeaTac (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jul-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) I have to agree with you with this... I would like to see a return of town, but not a return of police, fire or emergency sets....I have 95 % of the police and fire sets (including 2 flame fighters, and about to have 2 6389's.)   Re: AW MAN!

(...) Sigh... Why take Jack Stone to mean that its a bad thing for Town? Maybe this is actually a good thing. Many of us have taken Town Jr. to be TLC "transition" theme from Duplo to System, now Jack Stone is taking that niche. Maybe, just maybe, (...)   Re: new lego sets? are they crazy?

(...) At the prices LEGO charges for any sets, it is hard to imagine classifying any of them as loss-leaders. Generally this is a sales tool used by retail stores as 'bait' essentially to lure you in with an item being sold at or below cost. Usually (...) I'd recommend ebay, and keep your eye out for sets missing a few parts, without boxes and without instructions (which you can get on brickshelf). It's those little things that (...) Great comments, thanks! To recap, here's what I'm gleaning from the comments. I agree with 1-4, am shaky on 5, like leaving 6 alone, need more info for 7, and like the optimism of 8. 1. Namespace "lenni" in lower case - since XML tags are by (...) (20 years ago, 31-Aug-04, to lugnet.publish)
