| | review of July/August 2002 Club Magazine...
|
| I know that the magazine is geared for a younger audience, my first impression was that of near amazement. I liked the comic sections, but felt the 2nd one (Alpha Team) was a bit short. I also liked the extras included, though I really didn't care (...) (22 years ago, 11-Aug-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

|
| So yeah, I'm posting in l.general... Anyway, using my amazing powers of prognostication (1), I believe that we NA fans o' LEGO are in for a few nasty surprises in the future with regards to our relationship, as LUGs and organizations, with TLC. I've (...) (12 years ago, 9-Nov-12, to lugnet.general) !

| Top 5 for main street: 1 The town/city theme has been set aside these last years and needs to come back. 323 463 69% 2 I loved the Town/City in this period. I miss these kind of sets, with true LEGO pieces (not pre-made macro-blocks). Those minifig (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates)

| I'll be disappearing from LUGnet for 2-3 weeks while I head off to Greece and Switzerland. I expect to be back in time for the next BUGS meet at Mel's. BTW, I checked out the new ToyWorld at Indooroopilly Shoppingtown today. No extra-special opening (...) (22 years ago, 4-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Next to no Duplo elements appear in System (there's a Duplo cradle in 2002 Belville IIRC), and no System elements appear in (...) (22 years ago, 14-May-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.duplo)

I think its a great way for kids to get into the Lego (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.general)

| For a while I could not figure out if those red windshields on the cable car were 4 or 6 wide. Now I'm leaning towards 6 wide. Also, compare these to the light gray windshelds used on Lego train designer Jorn Thomsen's electric passenger car: (URL) (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains)
