  Re: LegOz 2000.3 Brikwars

*Nosy American pokes head in, sniffs around for truffles* (...) I *need* to see this vaunted BrikWars rule set--it sounds fascinating! Yet another reason I'm upset not to be in Oz, as if the monsoons we're having here in the NYC Metro Area aren't (...) (24 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

Re: Big Box with the Yellow Sticker of Joy

(...) I finally got a good look in the box. It sucks to get a package then have to wait 5 days to open it. And unlike Chris I don't have kids as an excuse, or cause, whichever is more appropriate. :-) So the box is big, but I think is the same size (...)   Micro-scale Bible Vigs

I'm sure the I'm not the first to think of making micro-scale vignettes, but I've never seen any others, so I'll take the credit. ;) The nice thing about them is that because they're built on micro-scale, with such a small base, they have a very low (...)   Re: More: Walmart LEGO Suprise and Adventure!

(...) Southern California stores are pretty darn slow about putting out the sale prices (or not at all). It drives me nuts. I found one Wal-Mart out of four with the Sphinx Secret Surprise marked down (grabbed all four out of frustration!). The (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Property Rights are the foundation of freedom

so opines Khaled Saffuri, saying "For Iraq to be free, property must belong to its people.", in a editorial column in today's USA Today.   Selling off large sets out of my personal collection

I've added a bunch of used sets out of my personal collection to my bricklink shop. It's been far too long since I had any interest in these so, at the wife's suggestion, I'm clearing them out to fund new toys ;-). Due to storage (and past moving) (...)   Re: medieval villages

Wattle & Daub architechure is older than one might think, some believe back as far as the 1100s. The process merely consists of mud being placed around a wooden skeleton/frame. The roof was made of thatch/grass/twigs. Not really that advanced. (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Puerto Bonita
