I presume your question is about the online game Mata Nui. Ta-Koro is indeed
in a cave inside the vulcamo, but the entrance to the cave lies at the foot
of this vulcano. So if they say "located in the shadow of the Mangai
volcano" they probably mean that you can find the entrance there. If you
have trouble finding this entance in the online game: Walk from the pod on
the beach, while keeping the see on your left side. After you've crossed the
rocks on at the end of the beach, you'll see the entance of the cave
straight in front of you. left of the entrance to the cave is a path to the
woods, and right from the entrance are stone steps leading up.
