  Re: time/date stamp

(...) Hey, user accounts... Great idea, Todd! Thanks for the offer! <grinning, ducking, and running> Seriously, though... Reading the planning document for Lugnet, it sounds like at some time there will be some fee-based services, such as (...) (26 years ago, 18-Dec-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Whoops -- thanks Todd; allow me to clarify. s/publishing/output/ig The *final* *output* format of the FAQ may be plain text, it may be DHTML, or it may be etched in 36-bit EBCDIC-encoded XML in Farsi on stone tablets; the FAQ format supports (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jul-99, to lugnet.faq)

And on the same theme: (this one's a touch obscure) "You must move your house to the lee of the stone"(1) James (URL) (...) (25 years ago, 3-Sep-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) Can god create a two-sided triangle? Arguing about definitionally impossible things is useless, IMHO. My take: Should an _omnipotent_ god (there is always the possibility of non-omnipotence, after all) exist, he would be able to make a stone (...)   Meeting!

Just to keep LUGNET readers up to date (for those of you not on the mailing list)... Talk is currently brewing for another NELUG meeting in the next couple of weeks, it looks like the date is going to be Thursday, December 16th! (but that's by no (...)   Re: The god debate again... sigh^h^h^h^h yawn

(...) Indeed. I would say that there is no answer to this question, because it's a logical contradiction. God can lift anything He wants, and God can make anything He wants. But God wouldn't set out with the express purpose of making a stone too big (...) (23 years ago, 22-Sep-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: My modular castle creations

YOu are right on about the Monochromatic aspect of the sets, THat is an area where they could use some more work! I like the Idea of hanging banners, I must have gotten too caught up in the whole battle concept to think farther ahead into the whole (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Giving credit where it is due for my Brickfest PDX MOC

All - Before too many images go around of my castle creation that I showed at Brickfest PDX, I wanted to give acknowledgement to Takeshi Itou. Both the idea of a snow scene (including the tracks) and the design of the stone bridge come from his (...) (21 years ago, 17-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)

Re: What themes are people complete in?

Does being complete mean getting every set a particular theme? If so I probably don't have a single theme that I'm complete in. I do have sets in a lot of subthemes, especially with the larger sets in each sub-theme. I have Flying Ninja's castle, (...) (24 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)
