 | | RCX 1.0 without external power jack?

| I bought a RCX 1.0 used on Bricklink to get an RCX with an external jack. The one that arrived is marked 1.0 but has no external jack. I thought all 1.0 units had the jack. Anyone else run in to this? Mike (21 years ago, 20-Dec-03, to lugnet.robotics)

| movies after little filtering cause osram light bubbles gives light which is yellow in digital cameras so i used 3 transformatins 1. rotate left 90 :) 2. remove some blue from picture so the yellow color has been decreased 3. change some white/black (...) | Well, it depends on what you're using the stuff for... I myself, having an RIS 1.0 set, wouldn't settle for anything GREATER than 1.0, because of the power jack. The power jack is essential to me. | (...) All 1.0's have the 9v external power jack. Early 1.5's also had the external power jack (mine did!) Later 1.5's and all 2.0's seen so far do not have an external jack. | The differences between varous RCXen: There was an RCX labelled "1.0" that came with the RIS 1.0 set. It had a power jack on it. This power jack would take 9-12V, AC or DC.
