Hi Spacers,

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=42970

I remade the Black Jack to be a bit less boxy and made room to detail the
interior.  The ship is part of Project Omega, which I hope to unveil at
Brickfest-- so, I don't want to go into too much detail.

(...) think the first Blackjack was that blocky until I seen the two pics side by side...what a much more smoother design :) I look forward to seeing more of this at Brickfest and learning more about Project Omega. Keep up the good work! - Jim F. (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) when comparing the two there is a stark difference. I think the transition from the body to the head via the "neck" is VERY smooth. Again, I love the SNOTed use of those spaceship hulls and the windshield/screen is great! I did like those (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Project Omega, eh? Hmmm..... Well, right off the bat, I can say that your ship is great! There's a lot of nice detail work , especially in the lab(?) area. The other thing I noticed is that the Black Jack looks vaguely like the Defiant from (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

This is a totally sweet upgrade, Felix. That cockpit section has definately set a new standard. The SNOT goes so well with the brasso'd saucers....make sure to take lotsa picture of the unveiling for us poor slobs who can't make the 'Fest. Cheers, (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

This is a great ship, Felix! I didn't catch the first version when I was still lurking here, but the new version is definitely an improvement. I like the repetition in the round designs. Love, Sylvi (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Black Jack 2 looks great! I like the overall shape and the cockpit especially (reminds me of the Imperial Shuttle). The name doesn't seem to fit it tho. The name Black Jack would imply a ship that is........well, black. ;-) Great MOC all the (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Ooh, great ship. I really like shuttle-sized ships. This is a big improvement, and a great ship itself. The slopes work realyl well together, and I like the idea for the engine. Those big round transparent parts work well in the engine. I've noticed (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Woah! Good job! This really caught my eye as I was browsing the recent stuff. I like the lines on this ship. It reminds me of the Defiant from Star Trek: DS9. I like the interior layout too, though some sections don't look as detailed as others. Is (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Felix, I really like this MOC. While the original was great, this totally blows it away. It's a lot sleeker and more subtle; I think the dark grey guns (?) underneath works a lot better. I may have to borrow that canopy design. :) -Bruce LEGO @ (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)
