| | RE: Dremel on plastic?
| (...) See my web page on "cutting" soft plastic boxes with a soldering iron. You have to go slowly, but the resulting cut is much better than with a dremel tool. I know, I've tried almost all methods. (URL) Cheers, Ralph Hempel - P.Eng ---...--- (...) (25 years ago, 4-Nov-99, to lugnet.storage)

| The Vorgem Marshes have swallowed yet another group of victims! This time a small wagon carrying farm workers was found run off the county roadway, axle deep in the smelly swampland with nary a sole in sight. Clearly the Gobragee Beast still lives (...) |
| Robert's numbers look good, although compared to my numbers they look conservative by about 10% -- I had 13.4 ft^3 per pound. As far as envelopes go, you basically have to make one from scratch. It is not really that hard you just need the right (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| | Dremel on plastic?
| Hello all, I've found a reasonable storage solution for my technic bits. At the local handyman store (Clas Ohlsson here in Stockholm), they have boxes with various size compartments that can be closed and locked. I think they are made by Raaco. All (...) Your ideas and projects are wonderful but I can suggest a few reasons why some people may be put off: a. the circuit diagrams look formidable b. (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

A more precise definition of what I mean by "Lego fan" in this context would be someone who wants to build robots, but not get down to the "workshop floor" with the soldering iron, the screwdriver and the such...
