  Definition of firmare [was: legOS]

Ok, my turn!!!! Hardware is the thing you can't change without a soldering iron or other tools. Software is what you think it is. Firmware is those things that are *both*: it's written like software, but you need to perform hardware-style actions to (...) (26 years ago, 1-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Help

Hi John, It depends on what kind of circuit your infrared sensors are in. An infrared diode or transistor can not be hooked directly into the HB. They have to be biased properly and the signal amplified to be compatible with either the digital or (...) (26 years ago, 25-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Implementation question

Hi Ronald! Ok - my HB is working now. I got the right 1233-10 (10 means 10% of 5v - reset is going up on 4.5v). This seem to work better. Second thing is the 350ms delay seem to be necessary in normal reset. The second thing was that the power (...) (26 years ago, 31-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  AC adaptor

I figured out all of my problems were caused by using an ac-dc adaptor with the wrong voltage. What is the correct output voltage for the adaptor that should be used with the handyboard? Hi All, That color code on inductor should read: BROWN(1), BLACK(0), GOLD, SILVER which is (1x10^0)uF => 1uF. Sorry for the confusing and we will mark that in the future. Thanks.
