  Re: monkey rail

Thanks for the offer. I hadn't thought about the programming yet. STil need to watch your videos to see how yours works. At the moment I'm trying to learn NQC. I thought the whole setup might be controlled with a single RCX (as appears to be the (...) (18 years ago, 8-Dec-06, to lugnet.robotics)

It's nice to see :-) how the unofficial historian of LEGO seems to feel more comfortable with historical character "La marquise de Pompadour" (1721-1764), the "favorite" (lover) of king Louis XV (...)   Re: New homepage for LUGNET part 3

Hi Dave, (...) I will have an alternative CSS ready in a few minutes which uses background-colors with less chroma. In general, the colors are changed slightly to match one "color chart" (don't know how to describe this in English). Actually, in the (...)   Re: New homepage for LUGNET part 3

Hi, Rene. I put together a mock-up image of my suggestions for tweaks to the new LUGNET front page. I am using (URL) index-test-2> as a basis since I prefer the overall look of that draft to any of the ones since then. (Not that the (URL) latest (...)   Re: Hobby Trains at LEGO Factory

(...) This looks pretty good, and I hope it's going to expand. I did send them a message though that the link to "Other users' train designs" gives some pretty poor results. A lot of the good stuff has dropped off the end. They need to link to 'Cool (...) (18 years ago, 20-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)

RE: Mindstorms USB connection and memory

There is a lot of "not quite standard" to existing USB capable products. Some things like digital cameras and thumb-drives get along fine with current operating systems, but most of them have their own drivers available to implement extra features. (...)   Re: New homepage for LUGNET part 4

(...) Rene, great work so far. I am 'REALLY' gonna miss the old homepage of LUGNET. Honestly, I don't know why or how much change needs to be done? I know the new look will not please everybody. So far, I have compared each draft and the current (...) (18 years ago, 22-Dec-06, to lugnet.admin.suggestions, FTX)

Re: How long will train 9v motors last?

(...) This is definitely the biggest factor. I've had a motor overheat and cut out after just half a day under a heavy load.
