  Re: Fatwah

(...) I was talking more about the linkage to events of 11th sept. The link is clear. (...) One would hope not. (...) Is so, that would be equall irrelevant (to me). (...) In the news yes. But this is not news. This is opinion from a political (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Meeting du 12 oct. et show de train

(...) Hi guys, Jude, would you consider going to Montreal if I could make it? I could drive if I can make it. Do you know how to get to Emmanuel's, and what time is the meeting? Martin, have you seen the post from LEGO asking for announcements of (...) (23 years ago, 7-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.monlug, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

Re: Deciding on a large ship acronym

(...) Haha! (...) Could work. But what do we mean by "100 studs"? Are we discussing length of the model? What if someone designs a model that is rather wide, deep, or tall? Theoretically, a ship could contain thousands of pieces and still measure (...) (22 years ago, 30-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: (tentative) new Toronto lego robot contest

(...) Oh I have some ideas ;) In order for one of my ideas to work, I need the top of the blocks to be tiled. You let me worry about how the 3x3 block is sitting in the 4x4 square. I am also so impressed by the delta v 'bot pics that Iain had a link (...) (23 years ago, 16-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Paradise ABS shop (Brickbay shop)

I spent some time today "tweaking" my inventory. I changed the train items from 2 in a lot to 1 in a lot, put the 4.5 volt motor on sale (20% off), also the metroliner cargo door (10% off). Added a battery tender (from 7722). Sale items are in honor (...) (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Sticker Resources

I have noticed a bit of debate about the use of stickers. Brad Justus brought up the question of stickers in the Legends / Classics line (URL) . And Mike McKee, like others I'm sure, hates stickers. (URL) recently purchased the Shell Promo sets and (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: What do YOU do with face-less heads?

(...) I have several and I used them as pillars on a building. I haven't come up with another use yet. Basically, just use them as a brick. You can see how I used them with this link: (URL) is the pic called "store and toystore". Of course, feel (...) (23 years ago, 2-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: AUSSIE IN THE UK

(...) Thanx David... I'm glad you like my website.... To answer your questions.... Every picture is done like this: 1.After writing the story, I brake it down to scenes.. 2.Each scene I then work how best to illustrate it.... 3.I do a quick drawing (...)   What does it take to be a true Christian?

(...) I'm very interested in some answers to this, actually-- particularly from a Christian perspective. I think I've tried to define Christianity a couple times as certain sets of philosophical/moral beliefs combined with supernatural beliefs, (...)   I miss the old LUGNET...

Yes, I miss the old LUGNET. I miss people actually replying to a post. Two+ years ago, when I first found out about Lugnet, every post I made was replied to numerous times by friendly people just making small talk, telling me how much they enjoy my (...) (...) That is just silly, I have built a 10022 by myself but I do not own the set (I was at a friend's place). I know what it looks like, how it is constructed, the pieces used, etc... I can make an educated decision about it. Also, what you propose (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

Idea for future small meetings? (Parts Draft)
