| | Help needed, please!
|
| Hi everyone, I've just returned from a week long vacation. (Don't envy me yet :) For some foolish reason or another, I took two minifigs with me. About three days ago, I realized one of the minifigs was missing. Search as I may, I couldn't find her. (...) (25 years ago, 27-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.castle)

I haven't read to the end of this thread yet, but some of my thoughts after reading a bunch: Throwing out the highest and lowest score might not really help since then it would just mean two people would have to decide to trash a set or theme. | | BBC-B interface #1093 - help wanted
|
| Just bought an interface unit for controlling 6 x LEGO 4.5v motors from a BBC-B micro. It is a LEGO set, part number 1093, circa 1986. Unfortunately has no instructions, but does look to have all the hardware I'll need (unit, PSU and cabling). Can (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

John, First off I would like to say that I'm sorry to hear about your problems but I'm kind of glad you brought the topic up for discussion (if it's been discussed before, I would guess it has, I didn't know about it). If you (Todd) are going to cancel a post by someone at the behest of Lego (who neither sponsor nor endorse LUGNET), release the legal document asking you to remove it. Well, I can think of lots of reasons why you might want trig - if you know what direction you are moving in and how far you've travelled, trig will let you figure out where you are relative to where you started. | (...) That wiring looks fine, provided that "IR" is a DB-9 female that connects directly to the IR device. If you use the IR cable supplied by lego, then you'll need to swap pins 2 and 3. Mac pins 1 and 2 (RS-232 pins 7 and 8) are not required at (...) (26 years ago, 21-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
