Re: What TLG set "revolutionized" your building?

(...) I'd have to agree in part with John. Having PAB has been a big help (Along with the Great Wall of Bricks at the LEGO stores). Bricklink has also been a help with filling in missing parts, etc. But the biggest things to help kick my building up (...) (17 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Hi, I am a newbie and would appreciate some help. My 11 year old has just joined his school robotics club.   Anybody know a small set with 6x1 red tiles? (was Re:...small set with 5-long straight liftarms?)

(...) Well, I picked up the Lava Roborider (those things are just as crappy as Throwbots (which at least come with ball/socket joints); I'm never buying one again) and it came with 2 black rounded 5 long beams instead of red. I tried them in my (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

I have these sets but can't find them in the set listings. Help!

I recently discovered two sets in my grandmother's attic. Basic construction sets 125 and 145, obviously from the early 70's. They are 222 pcs and 413 pcs respectively. The only thing I have found is a 1973 UK catalog that shows some similar sets, (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) It's possible that #125 had both door types, but I highly doubt it. I'll check my 125 box tonight and see. If it did have both, it would show them being used on the box. Yes 148 (Red train station) had both sizes in white. Set #400 (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  Samsonite Set # 205

I just received, from a co-worker, a Samsonite set #205 from 1971. He found it in a box of his things while cleaning his father's basement.   Re: [ldraw.org] Status/Help Needed
