Many thanks to everybody who helped! I think I know what I want to do--use an op-amp set up for differential amplification. After starting on a trailer for my 5571, I realized that an 18-20 stud wide trailer just won't cut it. I'm going to need a 22-24 stud wide 96-104 studs long) in order to properly fit the 2556 Shell Ferrari or other Technic cars on there. But (...) (25 years ago, 25-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)
