  SMART's BrickCon Display

I want to thank everyone who participated in this year's SMART display at BrickCon. It was absolutely amazing! We couldn't have done it without everyone's help. Every element was crucial, and worked amazingly! Named "BallMageddon" because either it (...) (13 years ago, 12-Oct-11, to lugnet.org.us.smart, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.events.nwbrickcon)

  Re: Why, dear LEGO???

You could basically get everything you needed (battery, motor, remote, etc.) and the charger wound up being free. They went away when the first (...) (13 years ago, 29-Sep-11, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Member "Set Lists"

(...) Okay, correcting myself now. As nice as the Peeron list is (especially the "Build This Set" option, cool!), it still doesn't help me. I want to see my "Want to Buy" list sorted by set year. Unfortunately Peeron only has the "Sets Owned" data. (...) (20 years ago, 5-Sep-04, to lugnet.admin.suggestions)

Re: Nicely now. What do you think of the new colors?

Hi Jake- I usually do not have a vocal presence on LUGNET, but I feel that this is an excellent opportunity to express an opinion of this change. I personally don't mind the new colors as an ADDITION to the existing and ever-growing color palette. A (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Why so many scowling minifig faces in the new town sets?

I bought 7034 last week (great set!) but couldn't help but notice how so many policemen of these new town sets have angry faces. What's wrong with smiley faces? Did one of Lego's "focus group" determined that children didn't like happy faces? Or an (...) (20 years ago, 4-Sep-04, to lugnet.town)
