What is this thread doing in .build.mecha? Or space, for that matter?

Soren

(FUT set properly)

This discussion was not about Oxford. The other links lead to some cool Mecha
and Space builds, as well as some discussion about those. There were some
building techniques that Spacers and Mechas might like to take a look at.

If you could help folks decipher some of those that would be swell. I was not
able to find pics in my stabs at navigating those sites but I may have went the
wrong way from the front pages, I dunno.

After
all, that is kinda what we do here anyhow. There are also a lot of military
MOCs. The link to Oxford simply showed where the builders of those MOCs got some
of their unique parts in Olive Green color.

I think if you look at the entire tree:

http://news.lugnet.com/space/?n=36008&t=i&v=a

you'll find that there are the potential roots of several different branches in
your original post (which has brought to light stuff that doesn't often get
mentioned here for which I thank you!) ... one branch that could be primarily
about military building techniques, one branch that could be discussion of how
to decipher Korean websites, one branch that's clearly about Oxford (the first
responder to your post wanted to go there, in fact, his discussion was all about
Oxford and not much about anything else), and perhaps others as well.

Rather than stress out about it and make the *main* branch a metadiscussion
about FUT, just let the convo flow where it will and set the FUT appropriately
as you see it shifting, and don't worry further. That's my advice. If everyone
takes it, this (part of this) post won't get any responses at all.
