Would be nice if LEGO brought back boxes of themed Lego Figures. This way they can produce a Harry Potter Themed Figure Set labeled "Dumbledore's Army", which would include ALL the students in participation. -Another possible set would be Fred + (...) I looked at the two Mindstorms expansion sets very carefully, and though I was somewhat taken aback by the price, I was impressed with the caliber of Robosports. No, its not a stupid question. Just impossible. At least kind of impossible. If you want 32 more outputs using the board as-configured, forget it. I really need two servo-out signals. I got one working just fine with the standard servo code and output to digital pin 9.   How to free up OC2?
 
I believe I can disconnect the OC2 pin from the unneeded IR-Xmit function, so I can divert it for my own use. Would that require any trace cutting, or perhaps removal of the LED Xmitter?   Getting Gear Ratios Right
 
Considering that gear ratio is such a fundamental concept, it's disturbing that several authors of Mindstorms books have got it confused. Adam, I have it working, but I want to tidy it up a bit. At the moment it uses 2 op-amp stages, I think it can work with one. After all, it's just a precision diode!
