Hi all,
I have designed and built an expansion board that allows for up to 8 servos
and adds speach to the handyboard. I am principly an electronics person and
only a beginner at programing. I intend to make these boards availible to the
public, but I need some support software for it first. Is there anyone who
would like to help me with this task? You can find the schematic at
http://www.1sorc.com/spchschm.gif   and the specs for the SP0256 narrator chip
at http://support.tandy.com/support_supplies/doc17/17517.htm

I know this chip is no longer being made, but I have found a steady supply of
them at a very reasonable price, and for the small volumes I would sell I'm not
particularly worried about them running out.

I would love to hear from Fred Martin about this board, and love even more for
him to help me with some cool software libraries to support it. Fred if you
read this please consider helping. Thanks in advance
-Dan

Hi Dan, I love the hand-drawn schematic. Are you going to make up PCBs? I'm sure people would be interested! keep us posted! Fred (...) (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
