| Speaking of fixing minifigs, I've thought about taking some flat black acryllic paint, using a 000 brush to paint on those fading eyes and mouths, then coating 'em with a quick spray of matte finish (like Krylon). While I've not tried it myself (on Lego anyway), I should think that if you kept your distance while spraying so that the clearcoat was nearly dry by the time it hit the ABS surface, you should be fine.
