Re: here comes the next wave of 2001 sets...

Hi Gary, not all of us can "remember" facts about 1957-1973, but I digress (hey.. my first Lego memory was in 1976 when I built a prairie. You know, the thing that boats tie up to on a lake. I wanted to put a little house on it but I really never (...) (24 years ago, 8-Nov-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.general)

(...) Gah, slings! Neil is absolutely right of course, the slings (and the Throwing Things rules) are way unbalanced. Over e-mail he and I argued the matter back and forth and came up with the following revisions: Throwing Things: ---...--- The old (...) Very neat work. It took me a little while to catch on to the fact that you were speaking as a minifig! Very original. For the tracks, did you try the 1.5x2 or 1.5x8 plates with rail, on edge, with 1x1 bricks in between, alternating grey and brown? (...) (24 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) Sure. If you don't want to post the mock-up here, please send me a copy via email. Also, if you have a mock-up of the toupee, *PLEASE* send me a copy! I need that for so many minifig models, it ain't funny! Thanks, Franklin (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Well we're back, suitably refreshed. TRU near Times Square NYC predictably carried all top-dollar stuff and no mark-downs. If my memory serves me correctly, prices of the big SW sets were as follows; Millennium Falcon $99 Ultimate Collector X-Wing (...) (24 years ago, 8-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: new and improved! pov-ray-friendly minifig coin (1 of 4; collect 'em all!)

(...) Hey, Mr. Prolific... this is neat! It will let me upgrade my BrickBay icon with a better coin (I'm gonna use the 40 because it's the biggest, of course). Is the 10 supposed to be centered on the coin? My eyes aren't good enough to say for sure (...) (24 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

AT-ST pilot minifig (lugnet please come back!!!)
