  Re: BrickOS newsgroups

I believe this is the most active group you will find. It seem right now, no one has anything to say. (or ask) Steve ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ralph Clark" <ralph.clark@ntlworld.com> Date: Fri, 16 Aug 2002 16:54:30 GMT To: (...) (22 years ago, 16-Aug-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Death of the Old Guard

I don't think Lego Castle is dead. I also don't think Harry Potter is castle, but rather just castle fodder. However, I submit to you that it is not Lego Castle that is dieing, but rather Lugnet.castle. The old guard is all but gone now. Just about (...) In lugnet.dear-lego, Christopher L. Weeks writes: "What kids need is the experience of complex modularity with rules of certain varying granularity." Yep, I can't count how many times I heard old Gramps yelling that out the kitchen window at me. (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  mlcad.log files filling my disk

I downloaded MLCAD on the weekend and have been trying to build my first model. All seemed to be going well, but gradually the program started running very slowly. At first I just assumed that as my model got larger, the program got slower (and my (...) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: rtlToronto, the Road Ahead/VM Questions

Matt, Some good questions here. I'd add the following: a hospital or similar venue almost certainly has a contract to a vending machine operator. We'd be in violation of any such contract if we vend thing for cash. I'm not sold on the most-cash-wins (...) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

I would like to publicly say I am sorry for starting all of this sad talk about lego castle dead. I olny ment that lego was rejecting castle thinks.
