Re: This is where I actually want a gun

(...) But, John, the death penalty is, so, well, final. What if there was a mistake? It does happen, you know. Even in these apparently close and shut cases, with "confessions" and neat surveilance videotapes and everything. What if the prison (...) (21 years ago, 8-Feb-04, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

  Lego S@H Update on 10036/10037

Hi, 10036/37 are now available for US S@H orders, though the official backorder dates are still in place. I just ordered my first Legends set--that Breezeway Café! :) (And $50 worth of other stuff that I'm not sure I really need, CURSES! :D ) best (...)   Re: New 2004 set photos

(...) Hey, thanks for that. I'm pretty stoked that Alpha Team isn't dead. That's been my favourite theme in recent years. At last I can stock up on a decent amount of sand blue. It's nice to see the NHL license produce something purchasable. I've (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.year.2004)

  Prining labels for sorting/storage

I was trying to figure out the best way to print out labels for my lego storage. I would like to have a name and picture of the parts, similar to (URL) found talk of the lego part label printer program for windows( (URL) ) but the links all appear (...)   LEGO disappearing from small toyshops

Hardly any small toyshops seem to carry LEGO anymore. I've been told that toyshop owners don't like to carry it because it's too "mass market" and they specialize in quality toys. Also, I suppose it is hard for toyshop owners to compete with the (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

  wish list for lego legends

I am puzzled about the lack of legends as of late.... sure I am happy about the blacksmith shop being made into a set and widely available, but somewhat displeased about the new sets put out in general small AND pricey.... enough commentary on (...)   Re: Bulk Bricks and LEGO auctions

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but rather am concerned that (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: old sets return

(...) I thought about this idea of a surprise announcement at BrickWest. I was at BrickFest last year when the Metroliner reissue was announced. I thought any new legends and new sets...10020 through 10037, (How about through 10050!) might be (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: To change the tune...

(...) Perfectly agreed--SH's finagling and ousting inspectors and flaunting UN resolutions was a terrible thing. No one has ever stated that SH wasn't a tyrannical dictator with much blood on his hands. But at the time in question--from just before (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: New Technic crane

Steven makes an excellent point here. The Bionicle hook could not be more out of place. It looks ridiculous on an otherwise nice looking design/model. As for the color issue, I will beat that dead horse a bit more. There is a significant quantity of (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

A scientific method would be to take the original RRP and apply the inflation factor of the years since release and then divide that into the current average ebay prices for that set.
