Re: Question: Why allow postings of Lego Direct on lugnet at all?

(...) I think there would be even no need to visit lego.com: for sure someone would post (or link) the news into the lugnet. Lots of news are 'leaking' out of lego.com even before they are published in a regular way there. Just these days pictures (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Lugnet and Yahoo are fine, but gamelug is the one that's actually costing me money! But seriously, I was trying to make a joke, posting to a thread that was supposed to be about what a bad job I'm doing keeping my own website updated. - Mike. (20 years ago, 29-May-04, to lugnet.gaming)

(...) GenCON, a gaming convention held in the summer in Columbus, Ohio, apparently has 3 or 4 BrikWars sessions running during the weekend.   Heads-up to Locals: TRU closing - lots of good stuff

The TRU on the Southwest Freeway at Bissonnet is closing. All Lego is 20% off (all LoM is 30% off, though.) There is lots of good stuff: both Legends Pirates ships, Fort Legoredo, the UCS Tie (for $56 total), HP, and, suprisingly, two copies of 3052 (...)   Is BrikWars Dead?

I've been reading some BrikWars battle reports online. The thing I notice is the battle reports are all old. A year or more in most cases. Is anyone playing BrikWars there days?
