  Re: New legend is up

(...) Assuming that Lugnet voting stats were what set their standards, I suppose so. But I'd hope they put more criteria into their research. Basically, I coulda predicted that it was at a disadvantage (I suppose I have no way of knowing that it (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.general)

I am trying to work out if we can deduce anything of statistical significance from the vote/view/rate information revealed on the My Opinions page for the different Legend candidates. For example, the top rated responses for the Barracuda (the (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates)

Top 5 for main street: 1 The town/city theme has been set aside these last years and needs to come back. 323 463 69% 2 I loved the Town/City in this period. I miss these kind of sets, with true LEGO pieces (not pre-made macro-blocks). Those minifig (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates)

(...) I could swear that's what they just did: there was a vote. Blame the public. Here's the most chosen reason for selecting the Barracuda by the voters: "Simply put the attention to detail in the Barracuda set the standard for Lego sets. It is (...) (...) Allan, you are quite right that it isn't fair to give the participants to get a sneak peak at the future legends Lego Direct will bring out. It should be announced on Lego.com either first or at least at the same time as the event (Brickfest). (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Legends winner

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but whatever happened to the vote on the next 'Legends' set to be released by Lego? Did the yellow castle win? I follow a few groups on LUGNET closely but I have never heard anything more about (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.castle)

(...) I could not agree more. Well maybe a little more, but not much. :-) Well said, Jeff. Announcing at BrickFest (if it happens) will be a pleasant treat for us and will have zero impact on the mundanes as long as it gets up on lego.com soon. It's (...)
