  Re: banner year for castle

(...) Just asking-- are people actually suprised by these new sets? Personally, I think they're very much in line with the new sets we've been seeing-- they're *exactly* what I would expect most new minifig playthemes to look like, with the possible (...)   Re: Worth the wait? (NO!)

(...) I agree with you on all points above. My problem is, I have no money!!! Releasing classic sets for original price, plus inflation (and not all of it) is great. I am afraid they are going to produce more classic sets I don't have and then I (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Nicely now. What do you think of the new colors?

The main reasons i do not like this color change: 1. They don't match the old ones. 2. When mixed, the old ones look like degradaded with time. The old light grey seem too much yellowed and i hate yellowed parts. (see this post: (URL) Storing will (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

I am trying to work out if we can deduce anything of statistical significance from the vote/view/rate information revealed on the My Opinions page for the different Legend candidates. For example, the top rated responses for the Barracuda (the (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Another Legend dies....

(...) Sounds like you're complaining about a loss of nostalgia. I think you're in the minority, though. People who have the original set will feel a bit slighted, but people who don't have it feel like they're receiving a gift from Lego. That's just (...) (...) SNIP! (...) First off, I would like to tell you how great it is that Lego is listening to it's audience and taking steps to bring back and recreate some of the sets that we relish and desire. Thanks for all that you have done! How many toy (...) (23 years ago, 20-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Retail rant, was Re: ?Best Lego Retailer?

I have not bought any 2004 sets yet, nor do I have any plans to do so. since I heared of the colour change I have bought 2003 sets from Wallmart, TRU and S@H, and I have placed some Bricklink orders (naturally with lots of grey and brown peices), (...)   Argumentative paper I wrote for College

I know I shall be the only one with this opinion, but frankly I am saddened by the re-release of the Guarded Inn. Yes, I will buy one or two, I'm not saying it's a bad set. I've always wanted one.
