Re: MoC: The Limacion track design is BUILT!

(...) I think the best amount, if you can afford it in distance, is 15 bricks from base-first hit thing. This will give about 14 bricks clear from rail, which is enough to run all the stock lego stuff (including 4552). I had 12.6 on my current (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jan-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Reminder - Tuesday February 13 gettogether

I would like to remind everyone that this is *not* a NELUG event. There is nothing wrong with that but there is a difference and I want things to remain clear. In the future I ask that all non-NELUG events be posted to the appropriate .loc groups. (...) (24 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

Re: Interesting pieces in set #10015

(...) I have a ton of them. If memory serves, they were from an early to mid-90s Basic Building Set. I know I didn't have any clear 1x2 plates before 1994, so it was definitely after that. But I can't remember the number--I want to say it was in the (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jun-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) Nope. I started this sub-thread. I instigated it. This is in l.a.g as someone is trying to rub me up the wrong way (I expect that is clear to everyone). Sorry for missing this thread for a few days.. I can't make it on Sunday - I have to work. Most Sundays are good for me, though. If I know in advance I can clear everything with work.   Re: The Terrorformer! (BT1 Contest Entry)

Odd replying to my own post. Just thought of two silly things I forgot to mention: 1. It's too bad my photos were not a bit more clear. Those that have the soldiers with visors open fail to show how I have altered all my BT1 figs to have arched (...) (23 years ago, 27-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: Proposal: New Parts Category for round parts

(...) I agree totally. A very important point. I'm ambivalent about the resolution. My *first* reaction is that we should leave existing parts mostly alone, unless it is very clear that they should be moved. My second reaction is that I'll go along (...)
