  Re: New MOC: The Sundart

(...) girlish scream of delight* That thing is amazing!!!! First: the design and style looks fresh out of the pages of Expanded Universe comics, you know, the good ones from Dark Horse Comics. Second: it so screams Star Wars style!! Third: brilliant (...) (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  I hate MOCPages

Now before you climb up onto your high horse, let me begin by saying I love MOCpages, and I think Sean Kenney is doing the community a great service. But I hate the users on MOCpages, at least a few of them. Since I've joined, but over the last six (...) (20 years ago, 2-Sep-04, to lugnet.general) !!

If you're interested in pictures of the set, a nice pictorial review can be found here: (URL) My initial impression of the new Space Police line was not positive for several reasons, the main one being the fact that I’m a hardcore fan of the two (...)   In the beginning...

In another one of my 'bored at work days' I wonder some of the strangest of things, today’s thoughts are: In one way or another we all enjoy the wonders of LEGO from the past and present (ok, maybe not so highly of present, but still, in general)...   Re: Color page updated

(...) Just to be clear: all colors from 0 to 511 (except 16 and 24) are true LDraw colors. For color codes less than 256, LDraw would use the lowest 4 bits to determine the color value. The sixth bit would determine transparency. The other bits were (...) (15 years ago, 4-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Color page updated

(...) There are already two very old ways to specify RGB colors in LDraw files. One comes from ldlite with somewhere between 12 and 15 effective bits of color information, and the other from L3Lab/L3P with 24 bits of color information. If we're (...)
