Looks like a good show.
Do you guys find the barrier off the front of your train layout to be
useful/effective?
We have run without a barrier for the last two years at our train show
(mostly because we dont have one). It has worked all right but a simple
barrier like yours might make sense.

Hey Ted,
The barrier I used was a first time experiment, and yes, I found it extremely
useful. Over the years, I have watched kids take running trains directly to the
side of their face as they lean in too far. Seen both adults and kids move,
touch, break, and re-arrange bricks. Also seen many of my cars be run down the
highway on to other ppls modules, and watched a few minifigs walk off in the
hands of viewers... This year the only mishaps I noticed was the barrier being
broke twice. So yes, I did really notice a difference this time around. Having
it be an all Lego solution is just a minor bonus.
Frankly, this barrier is far from physically keeping viewers back, but visually
it sends a very clear message! That message seems to be taken much more
seriously than the many, many, many Please do not touch signs we have used
over the years.
