The website also mentioned that to get boats to the wheel they also had to
build the aqueduct and a tunnel. A canal tunnel.

The wheel is amazing, but canal tunnels have been around for centuries. To get
through them you had to un-hitch the
horse or turn off
your steam engine. You then had to have two people lie on their side on a plank
across the middle of the barge and walk it through along the walls. Theres one
in Dudley if you want to give it a go...
