Re: LDraw to display at Legoland California for Kidvention

(...) Agreed. There is more to LEGO than space. Indeed, I would argue that the most creative models are those that represent things already built in real life such as buildings and current day vehicles, rather than things from the imagination. But (...) (24 years ago, 28-May-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.legoland.california)

  Pics of 1999 Mindstorms items

The press room at www.legomindstorms.com has some new pictures of the two new kits due out this year. From these pictures, it's clear that the "Scout" unit - in the Robotics Discovery Kit - is very similar to the RCX; it has only 2 inputs, and (...) (26 years ago, 24-Apr-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Lego Warcraft would be soooo cool...

(...) This is partly true, but I would like to clear up some of your nomenclature. You could say that Id created the First Person Shooter (FPS) genre of games when they created Wolfenstein 3D.   Wrong parts listed on Peeron for Model #6390-1 Main Street?

The peeron parts lists specifies that there are: 7 3855 Clear Glass for Window 1 x 4 x 3 (Ref) Looking at the model manual (I do not have the original model), it appears to me that there are two distinct window glasses here, neither of which match (...)   Re: Themed Calculators at LEGOLAND?

If you mean the ones about 1.5x2.5" on a keychain, they've had some at the Big Shop in LLC since they opened. However, all I've ever seen is clear ones with Bellville type printing (either purple or pink print of palm trees, etc). I've never seen a (...)   Re: Question to Collectors

They could've put them on the *outside* of the crate, on the clear plastic lid. That is (a) where it belongs and (b) easier to remove. Has DACTA always been manufactured in Europe? I thought it used to be a US-only thing. Steve (...) (26 years ago, 24-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Whoo hoo! Found four blue train windows

Wow, last night while looking for a clear red 1x1 cylinder I found 4 blue "train windows" without glass in my "Robor Command Center" (URL) I then spent 20 minutes checking all my other sets...bummer no other surprises. Chris (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains)
