  Re: Part search

(...) Yeah, some of those Boat parts need to be relocated. Especially now that the Wedge group has been broadened to include the boat base bricks (originally, wedges were only the 3x4 wedges, like part 6069). (...) That's not a totally bad idea. (...)   Re: The future of LDraw?

(...) How widespread a problem is that, though? I know that some parts do indeed have two numbers, but this would seem a glitch that should have been resolved eight or more years ago, no? I mean, when you can turn a brick over and say "Yep, it's a (...) (15 years ago, 22-Mar-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: The future of LDraw?

(...) Well, I singled out the header-code not as the problem in itself but as symptomatic of a shift that's taken place over a period of years. I don't know how else to say it without sounding petty, and I'm absolutely not singling out any one (...) (15 years ago, 20-Mar-10, to lugnet.cad)

Re: ToPleSs : the Art of building between the studs

(...) Matt Chiles used this technique heavily in his roller coaster, and referred to it as "pony-eared" (the 2x2 plate is pony-eared into the 2x4 plate). This comes from the old castle sets, before there was a horse element. The ears of the horses (...) (20 years ago, 18-Oct-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: LDraw.org's September Model and Scene of the Month Winners

(...) Congratulate with the scene Ben, it's really nice and the cows look very cute, but I think you should work a little more with the background, hiding the big concrete field in the background by adding another layer of houses, trees or landscape (...) I am afraid that almost no one from BrickLink reads these forums, especially the off-topic.debate portion of this site, so if you get little or no responses, it probably is because no one has read it.
