Re: Is there a way to reduce/repair scratches in clear parts?

I have found that I'm able to get a lot of scratches out of other parts with no ill effects. Now I'm not sure about clear or trans parts, though I don't see why not.. I have a compound we use for cleaning our guns after we shoot them. and it works (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: What is the deal with 1x1 Blue Plates?

(...) Right. Notice that Selcuk said that 6694 has a 2x2 clear plate, and that it is rare in 1980's sets, and I responded that the 6680 1980's era set also has a clear plate. I understand that there is only one set with a clear tile. James (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: GWLTS photos

Thanks Robert. The roof is made of clear thinwalls, as available from S@H. There are 16 packs' worth in it = 400 clear elements. Some time ago, I noticed how the thinwalls have a tendency to curve, and I immediately thought of a station roof. It (...) (22 years ago, 18-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.trains)

Thanks. Can I pick this product up at a typical hardware store? How much does a small bottle typically cost?
