Re: Best of Steam - Brickworld 2007

(...) Thanks for the compliments, Brian, but I just want to make clear that, short of bank-rolling these MOCs, I can take no credit for their design or creation! I merely bask in the glow:-) JOHN (17 years ago, 29-Jun-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: How to get L3P coordinates

(...) I just wanna make clear that the L3P coordinates have to be "L3P style global coordinates". For example <25,45,0>,<-25,225,0>. Please do not send me raw LDView outputs for PoyRay like: camera { #declare ASPECT = 4/3; location < (...) (17 years ago, 24-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

  Left behind

I hope someone out there can help me. As we were packing up Sunday, I seem to have left three containers behind. I think I left them inside the center west conference room doors (the ones closest to the loading area). They were: a green Pick a Brick (...)   Best of Steam - Brickworld 2007

Posted on behalf of Brian Williams If you couldn't attend Brickworld 2007, then here are pictures of some of the finest Lego steam locomotives found running there this past weekend.   Military mayhem in the AMCP!

Reporting from the front lines for those who missed it this weekend... Various military forces converged on the Apocalyptic Mecha City Project (AMCP) display and duked it out street by street, cobblestone by cobblestone. There were many troops of (...)   Re: Brickworld was a Blast!

What a Great Time! I was unfortuntately unable to attend the whole fest, but I came on Sunday for the public exhibition. All I can say is WOW! It was my first LEGO fest, and I had a great time. It was neat to see in person some of the creations (...) (17 years ago, 27-Jun-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Brickworld 2007 - Indy 5.00

(...) Seems clear to me :) there will be magic.... Actually - looks like a really wacky typo. Hopefully Steve H or Brian D jumps in to clarify for certain. But, I believe the full track layout is 4' x 8'. So, the track itself is just under 2' wide. (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jun-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, lugnet.robotics)

  The steampunk skiff 'Egregious'

Loosely inspired by some gorgeous SW Sail Barge MOCs on Brickshelf, NELUG's latest [1] Brikwars game featured a steampunk skiff battle set above the desolate Kar'Zuba desert. Every skiff represented a Trading Guild, and upon arrival at the outskirts (...)
