| Currently, my biggest pet peeve is 4212.dat, the 4 x 10 x 2/3 car base. The new version actually 4 x 10 x 18/24, the square section in the center has been sunk fruther in so that 2x2x2 town chairs in down to the first plate level. One long plate can (...) | (...) Bill, Cellulose Acetate LEGO was made from the early 1950's until 1964, when ABS Plastic took over. Unfortunately it had a tendancy to warp, but a lot of decent pieces are still in existence. | Hi, I recently acquired this: (URL) not sure the bricks pictured really belong to the box. The box is without date, but judging by the design it could be late 50ties or early 60ties. | as formerly mentioned, i recently got set #375 (1960s Samsonite brick set) at a yard sale for $1. not too special -- it's just a "universal" style set -- but it has a lot of clear bricks and old-style windows and doors and wheels and whatnot, which (...)
