Here's a picture of my own set (recently bought it in the Netherlands

Yup, that's it.  He said it was unopened.  Goofy looking set if you
ask me.  Probably not worth the trouble of a trip out there.  Thanks
for the pic, though!  :)

Well, a couple of people let me know I ought to consider going to get
it and even though I figured I wouldn't want it I guessed someone
would so I sent my coworker after it.  Almost wish I hadn't, though.

$40 became $45+tax, so I'm out about $50.

Seems mostly complete and in remarkably good shape, but it certainly
wasn't unopened.  Major pieces it seems to be missing after a cursory
examination are the ladder and yellow hinge, maybe the flagpole.
Stickers are in the kind of shape you would expect them to be in after
20 years or so.

So, I guess I'll get to find out if someone really wants it or not. :)

Box and instructions are in good shape.  Amazing number of blue slope
bricks.  Kinda weird, too, to see a set that uses small 1x1 and 1x2
plates to make a standard arch a little larger (the cars wheel cover
thingies) - guess the evil thought of just making a larger arch hadn't
surfaced back then.

(...) Another good thing that will definitely come of this is that I can scan the instructions and upload them to kl.net, since they don't appear to be there yet. (26 years ago, 14-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)
