I picked up the River Expedition set, and was very annoyed to make this
discovery.  There is a one-piece trunk with base, a one-piece four-frond top,
and a standard round green tile to hold the latter on.  The leaves are made of

It's bad enough to see Lego making up new, large, low-reusability parts, but to
see such pieces *replace* an existing solution is disheartening.  The savings

Pigs must be flying because I never thought I would defend Town Jr. However,
I've always tried to get my nephews and nieces into Lego by buying them on
Christmas and birthdays.  I found they would get frustrated with the directions

to it, the age does say 7-12.

Your pal,

Felix
