Re: April 1st sometime in the world ... ? (Re: New Trains)

(...) I was thinking this, too. Lego now uses the "<-o->" symbol. Not to mention that the stickers are poorly applied, and Lego doesn't even use stickers for the door symbols anymore (I think, they didn't with 4558). (...) Right, too much (...) (25 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains) !

(...) What is with the rude comments of late? Someone can't just throw in a little meaningless statement here and there? You do it often enough. I do it, too, and so do most people. (...)   Re: New 9V Digital Trains for Germany this Autumn

If I remember correctly, lego had some involvement with that artist. The artist misled (maybe another word is better) lego such that they were shocked when they saw his creation. I know a lot of people complained. Here's what I found in dejanews: :: (...) (25 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Futbol is fun!

(...) I'd agree that from a playable game, the new Football is better than the old, but from a quality of set for display, I definitely would prefer the old. One thing you can do to make the pitch stay together better is to use plates on the (...) (24 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

LEGO name branding = Builder's Reverie

(...) I agree that TLC needs to accomplish this to remain competitive. How and why this will prove difficult is a big subject. Here's a short list of problems: 1. I didn't particularly like the set's design, but I thought it had a good assortment of pieces for combining with other sets to make your own creations (<set:6091> is lacking in good old-fashioned basic bricks).
