| | Re: Meet My X-
|
| (...) We decided to trade it in. There was nothing much wrong with the car, we just thought that if we were planning on buyin a house in a couple of years, it would be better to have a car that is still in good condition vs. 7+ years old. | Ben, I've given you kudos for this model before, but I wanted to do it again in public :) Awesome model. You have a knack for sculpting with plain old bricks and creating forms of real beauty and elegance. My models tend to be very heavy on the (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad)

| | Re: Classic timing circuits and XOR gates (long)
|
| (...) Yes, the XOR gates are not load bearing, but somewhere in the body. I tried to make the legs "just follow allong", but this did not guarantee that the legs were all weight bearing when needed, and it fell. I added a switch to each leg hooked (...) (19 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

At first I thought you didn't understood what I was trying to say, but as I kept reading you understand what I was trying to say, and you even took it a step further. I really (...) | (...) This is my *favorite* concept. CITY themes over the past few years have been basic construction, fire, rescue and police. I would like to see more "everyday" buildings that can fit into an ever-expanding town. Either Americana or European (...) (19 years ago, 16-Feb-06, to lugnet.lego.direct)

| | My latest Ldraw Work -- 588 Police Headquarters
|

I still have to make the decals for it and the string for the (...) (19 years ago, 7-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

| I've just been to Tesco's and found they've knocked down the Naboo Swamp set to £1-99 - a good source of brown and green bricks. The transparent dishes are quite classy too, and you get a couple of droids. I've got four of these sets now, which is (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
