| | Re: How old is the oldest active Australian Lego fan?
|
| (...) Well, I'm 46, but semi-inactive at the moment. Inactive in a building sense, I still read LUGnet and run a bricklink shop. But hopefully when I finish my part-time study in June, I may have more building time again. The oldest person I can (...) (19 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.loc.au)

| | Re: How old is the oldest active Australian Lego fan?
|
| (...) Interesting question. As far as Melbourme based fans go, I'm probably close to the oldest regular contributor. However there is at least one other fan who turns up occasionally when he has something interesting to show or trade. I don't know (...) (19 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

| (...) That's a shame. The new colour isn't any where near a suitable replacement. Not that I don't like it, but I think it's a mistake to get rid on the old shiney one. (...) That's not really a valid reason not to make something though. All it (...) (19 years ago, 19-Apr-06, to lugnet.color)

| | New Cobi/Best-Lock
|
| I saw some new military bucket sets at the Concord, NH Toys 'R' Us this weekend & they had the Cobi logo & the Best-Lock logos. I did not buy any so I don't know if the pieces are of the 'old' Best-Lock proportions, or more like Lego. From the (...) (19 years ago, 19-Apr-06, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, FTX)

I was around from the "old days" (wipes single tear from eye) (1) I have enudured lots, the growing pains, the mocking, the "others."(2) The rise and fall and rise again of nations and empires. | | Berlin's old suburban train!
|
| Hi train folks, I just build a model of the old Berlin suburban train! Ok, it's not my invention, I have see this model at Maik's and David's LEGO homepage ((URL) and (URL) and thought this could be a nice way to use my three red baseplates out of (...) (24 years ago, 15-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) Cool! Really looks like it might have appeared in the 12V line. Excellent use of clear bricks. One question: I like the way you used the 1x2 with handle plate on the sides, but what did it represent. A door? Maybe I'm not familiar enough with (...) (24 years ago, 15-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

| | Modlex Titane and Cyclops: more transformers

| Hi, after the positive recations about my previous post, i made some more modlex transformers. I also went on vacation and took some parts of the old knights with me, this resulted in a collection of smaller transformers: the Modlex Cyclops. the (...) | | Re: LNPd with USB Tower - success?

| Hi, lnpd is a very old program and has several problems, it does not support the protocol used by brickOS, lacks support for the USB tower and may lose packets as soon as they get too large (>8 bytes or so).
