| I just found my old Lego Idea Book from 1977.It is very worn out from use. Anyway I looked at it and relized how much you can build just using regular bricks.Compared to the other Idea book from 1998. So I brought it to work and showed it the kids (...) | (...) Well the lack of "grip" is a strong hint for CA anyway. Even if the bricks are not warped, there is some extent of shrinkage which causes the lack of grip - I think I heard from different sources that CA bricks never had too much grip to begin (...) | (...) Good Answer Clark!!! These 1x1 round bricks with Esso labels are NOT the same as those shown in the Ultimate Lego Book. The ULB picture shows a 1:43 scale truck, one of many that Lego sold in the 1950's, but they were larger than the 1:87 cars (...) (23 years ago, 21-May-01, to lugnet.general)

| My collection is sorted very detailed by color and brick size but my six year old son prefers a bucket of mixed up bricks versus the sorted ones. I he likes to just start building with no real plan of what he's making unlike myself where I go into (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.storage)
