> Hi all,
I wanted to thank everybody for their ideas ... by the end of last weekend, I
had a very respectable looking, detailed warehouse. Some of the items I
managed to incorporate:
(1) Light Fixtures
(2) Louvered Vent (using garage door sections w/ 1x1 w/ side stud on each end)
(3) Faded (tan) area where an old sign used to be
(4) Extensive use of *old* white bricks, which were dirty, yellowed,
and/or gross
(5) Rain spout/conduit
(6) LOM Fan ventilation system (lattice grates on the inside, fans sticking out
on the outside
(7) Appropriate external accoutrements; some hedges and weeds, bunchs of tires,
some drums, an old beam, and a dumpster
and my personal favorite ...
(8) Patented, Genuine, Simulated Ventilator Fan Slime. Using a snot section
reminiscent of the book titles in the Ultimate LEGO book, I put together some
gross drippings off the bottom of the fans. The dark grey, brown, and black
drips seep partway down the wall.
It's awaiting its first public appearance this weekend at NELUG's Train Show
display. Hopefully there will be some pictures forthcoming!
Thanks again, everybody!
