  Dave and bubbleheadedness...

So I'm looking at one of my MOCs, and thinking, "Gee, 2x2x1 old style white windows would be better suited for that..." I go into my window bin and search... and search... and search some more... and yet no 2x2x1 old style windows. I found 2x3x1, (...) (21 years ago, 26-Mar-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Ideas and Suggestions for LEGO S@H

Hi there, (...) I was delighted to see this posting this morning. But I wanted to think about my response for a bit to make sure it didn't just end up as jibberish. :) One thing did cross my mind. From the description above I wasn't sure if you/they (...) (19 years ago, 24-Sep-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Studless Brick Wall Study

(...) Hello all and thanks a lot for all of your wonderful comments! I truly do appreciate it. OK, here are the details. For the actual brick wall part I only used multiples of four different pieces; a 1x1 gray five-studded brick, a 1x1 gray technic (...) (...) I'm of absolutely no use in helping translate, but I just had to say thank you for posting this wonderful bit of history. The artwork (as much as the bricks) is what I really love about the pre-1970s LEGO ads and package inserts/instructions. (...) (19 years ago, 20-Sep-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: The Gothic Cathedral

Hello! I like that cathedral. It captures the Gothic building style very well. So I like it both for its architectuural appearance and its more traditional LEGO building style. The choice of red bricks certainly was due to their availabilty but (...) (19 years ago, 15-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Lego Parts You Hate....

(...) I agree that the SNOT technique is great for the 1x1x1 headlight bricks. I just detest them because TLG uses them as a poor substitute for the old 1x1x1 classic windows in the remake of the USS Constellation Ship model. And again in the Lego (...)   Re: 10133 BNSF Mod using BBB wheels

(...) These look great. The technic disk are way to wide for a 6wide engine. I've done something similar for a GP9's fans. But I used regular plastic 9v era wheels.   Re: On creating life-sized sculpture

(...) The Lego software does in fact only give the outline on a lego grid rather than where each brick goes. It works pretty good most of the time.   Collecting Rare Lego in a Binder....

  Re: On creating life-sized sculpture

It depends on what the sculpture is going to be used for. If it will be on display where random people will touch it you'll probably want to have a metal skeleton within.
