Hi all, With the new (URL) SNOT-method> I designed last year, I created some more interlocking puzzles (only using bricks, plates and tiles).   How to make old white legos clean again?
 
Hi everybody... I'm looking for advice!!?? Does any one have a good way (that doesn't ruin the lego) to make old dirty looking white bricks look new again? does bleach work? etc... please let us all know if you have a good way to do it!! Thanks, Dan (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Ahoy! Sorting through some old stuff at home, I found some photos of models I'd built before I became active on LUGNET, and long before Port Brique was conceived. Way back in 1998(?), I had very few pirate sets (2 Imperial Bastions, the smallest (...) (22 years ago, 16-Mar-03, to lugnet.pirates)

I have been getting a lot of requests recently about old sets on EBAY, or old sets that folks may already own. And sometimes I tell the people to avoid the set because the parts are not original. No Duq, there are other neurotics out there. My LEGO Cathedral (still unfinished) has thousands of red 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 1x6 and 1x8 bricks. Most of them were from my old cathedral which I built in 1986, but destroyed in 1996 to build the new one. (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

It was clearly possible for TLC to make old greys and old brown variety packs to help bridge the color change transition. I bought what I felt was more than my fair share of these packs but the supply didn't run out too quickly, so I don't feel (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.dear-lego)
