  Re: Harry Potter Phoenix Deely

(...) Yes, quite correct, that's a phoenix. I read all 4 books only a year ago, amazing how much I've already forgotten (its name)! I forgot (memory fading in old age (31 is old if you forget to sleep)), but isn't that the same phoenix that provided (...) (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.general)

  Duplo Zooters

I was just at a local Bartell Drugs and came across Duplo Zooters for the first time. Goofy little sets, but my 2 year-old and my 6 year-old are having a lot of fun with them. They only had the green Goozle 3263 and the red Tez 3264, for $9.99 each. (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jan-04, to lugnet.duplo)

Re: Nicely now. What do you think of the new colors?

Others have responsed to your post and have expressed similar concerns to mine far more eloquently than I could, but I would just like to add three points that sum up my views: 1. The change makes my collection of old grey 'obsolete'. Ignoring (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

  Re: Letters & Numbers?

(...) This is an old thread, but I bet that these letters do make great tall vertical Marquee's (theater signs) that usually can be found in old American/Canadian movie theaters from the 1920's-50's. These tall signs that were freestanding (but (...) (24 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Duplo train question (The Answer)

Is the old track compatible with the new track? I don't own any of the old track but I have found the answer. Here is a quote from the 1993 Catalogue. "The new rails are fully compatible with the former Play Train range. However the points and the (...) (24 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.duplo)

  Appraisal of old legos 011, 044, 346, 350, 431

I was inspired by Eric Harshbarger's page (a friend sent me a picture of the desk!) to pull out my old and very much loved Legos.
