Re: Very old style LEGO MOC

(...) Hi Andreas, Using it for RACHAL may take quite some time (we have plans already for the next one) but if you'd like the MPD to play around with just drop me an email and I'll sent it across. Tim (18 years ago, 20-Apr-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)

  Review of BrickWorx set 405

My informal review of BrikWorx initial offering - coaches 401 and 403 in set 405. Check out pictures of finished models and box contents at: (URL) sons and I put together the models recently - I, of course, had a head start by finishing the (...) (...) Maybe - depends on the price point, but I could use the parts too. It's damn hard to get even a handful of useful general bits (i.e. assorted 1xn bricks and plates) out of a set nowadays - that one looks blocky enough to be useful. Doesn't (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains)

What happened to the original list of Core Values?

I've been looking around online for a copy of the LEGO Company's famous list of Core Values (which they had showed off until at least.. 1999?) But I'm stumped! I don't even see it in our old rtl FAQs. Does anyone have a copy they can post here? And, (...) (18 years ago, 26-Apr-07, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.faq)

  Very old style LEGO MOC

(URL) Based on this (URL) toy>. As we can clearly from the original see the colour change is nothing but a return to LEGO's basic colour pallette. Obviously this fits the "back to basics" approach of recent years so I think we finally have the real (...) (18 years ago, 19-Apr-07, to lugnet.build, lugnet.color, FTX) !!

(...) At least they killed off the Time Cruiser comic. By over-analysing the replacement Alpha Team comic it is possible to see the comic as an ironic comment on the (economical) availability of the Oleg minifig compared to the henchmen minifigs. (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jun-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

I've been trying to build a cross compiler and brick-os on my machine for a day now and well, what can I say except that all the how-to's and instructions for building brick-os seem to be either wrong, bad or out of date. (...) IMHO, it's not 'stupid.' Having just recently built a decent size MOC in only new light bley, I must admit that I am impressed with it on it's own. That is the key phrase - 'on it's own.'
