  Re: Mark's Pad

Hey Nathan, Awesome moc. I really like the bed/desk and the entertainment center especially. The coffee table is the one thing that I do dislike in this (though I had no idea those supports came in that color - my only ones are in old gray from my (...)   Working on planning a Brickfest East Coast 2008

Hi, I run the LEGO(r) based toy museum in Bellaire, OHIO www.brickmuseum.net I was looking into the possible running of a Brickfest East Coast in 2008, and was wondering if we could get some input from the LEGO(r) community. We just created a new (...) (17 years ago, 31-Dec-07, to lugnet.events)

  new moc: water tower house

i vowed to myself to post this before the new year. i have berated fellow lug members for not posting their new mocs but then i distinctly heard mr. pot calling to mr. kettle, something about the colour black. back in april i completed a new moc, (...)   Re: Tauntaun

(...) The new pieces which were not available yet when I did the first version definitely enhanced the head. The body was made leaner and the legs extended for a more accurate look.   Re: My new approach to modular brickscaping...

(...) Technic half-pins are better for alignment (and a few plates as you mentioned above) when considering the COLTC-standard hill modules -- makes set up/tear down much more simpler. Like you said Technic pins are better for "stronger" (...) (17 years ago, 30-Dec-07, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Thanks for the reference, and I now see that several online LEGO histories mention cellulose acetate as the material for all bricks prior to 1963. (17 years ago, 16-Dec-07, to lugnet.color)

  Re: HMS Inevitable

(...) Yeah, I've been out of the loop, but I do get the impression that my old lugnet haunts get a lot less traffic these days, now that theme-focused forums are on other sites too.   Re: Why do you love bley?

(...) Hi Tim, You've really summarised the reasons for using bley very well, and I agree with them all - although I would not give them all equal #1 ranking. I guess my main reason is that they are nicer to look at (particularly the new dark grey) (...) (17 years ago, 8-May-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)

Color filters (was: Why do you love bley?)

All this color talk has me finally posting something I have been thinking for awhile: My biggest problem with the greys and bleys is that it is hard for me to be consistent when I want to be consistent.   Re: My new approach to modular brickscaping...

(...) The general approach looks sound. The module size is good. It's easy to forget when building that your model will often have to get through the doors of your home and into your car---usually by one person working alone. I wonder if using (...) (17 years ago, 29-Dec-07, to lugnet.trains)

All this is besides the point! Lego should support Mac, simply because it should! The Mac is an option for consumers (whom some people say is much superior to Windoze), and while it's there companies and organisms -especially those in education- (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jul-01, to lugnet.robotics)

  LEGO museum in Billund
