Hi, Personally, I have no problem with the new colours. I can remember getting gray 1x1x1 clips in the mid-80s that didn't match the gray of other bricks, I thought it strange, but it didn't really bother me. My only concern with a colour change is (...) The new colors would be great if thats what we had all along in place of the old colors, but we don't so I would have to say that I would rather buy a bucket of old colors rather than the new ones. Ahoy! The newest arrival in the waters around Port Brique is the whaling brig Egregious. Whalers have tended to operate further south, but Port Brique was a resupply stop for Captain Warning in his hunt for a peculiarly coloured great whale. (URL) (...) Thank you Jake. I am glad that the color issue is being addressed. In my opinion, the changing of colors is only one symptom of a larger problem at LEGO. LEGO cannot be everything to everyone. Lego has represented the new grays as an "improvement". I don't agree - they are merely different. For some applications of gray, they will work better, for others, they will be worse.
