  Re: Legends: good or bad?

(...) Well, the problem is that a lot of AFOLs have nostalgic value for sets. Old sets even pay off in nostalgia for kids-- there's something appealing about a "golden age" that's included in the word 'Legend'. Lego's cashing in on that. They (...) (23 years ago, 15-Apr-02, to lugnet.general)

Hey all, Just wanted to toot our own horn, I guess. BrickFair has passed the 600th registrant mark. Frankly, I'm a bit amazed. Don, I have previously suggested a similar course of action for this set: (URL) this is one of my all time favorite sets, and at the top of my list for a Legends reissue, it frankly looks silly in blue. (...) My understanding is that the new Wine supports the .NET framework using MONO (open source implementation of nearly all of .NET).
